individual and family counseling

Are relationship problems, depression, anxiety, or unreasonable fears having too much power over your life?

Are you stuck in unresolved conflict or too many hurt feelings in an important relationship?  Do you feel like you’ve tried everything you can think of to fix things, but nothing is helping enough?  Has communication broken down with an important person in your life?  Often, there is more that can be done to help, if you are willing to work and learn.

Do you find yourself worrying too much, to the point that it interferes with your ability to sleep or function at work or at home?  Have you been experiencing fear or panic at time when there seems to be no good reason for it?  Problems with anxiety and fear can very often be overcome with the proper help plus hard work.

For the past two weeks or longer, have you been feeling sad or empty?  Much less able to feel pleasure or joy in things that normally would please you?  Trouble concentrating?  Sleeping too much or too little?  Eating too much or too little?  Feeling worthless? Even struggling with thoughts of death?  You may be depressed, but you must know:  there is help available.  Studies show that counseling alone for mild or moderate depression is the treatment of choice, while adding medication to the counseling is indicated for severe depression.
